New marine nematodes named after us
Thanks to our colleagues led by Florian Scharhauser for naming two new species of nematode worms after Miriam Weber and Christian Lott of HYDRA in a gobal revision of symbiotic marine worms.
It has always been a pleasure to work with this dedicated group of scientists from the University of Vienna in several field campaigns digging under water in coastal sands hunting for new species of this fascinating group of worms that harbour symbiotic bacteria as a white coat on the outside of their cuticle.
