Biodegradable plastics and their performance in the environment are our focus topic. Tests following ISO, EN, ASTM.

Laboratory Tests/ We conduct lab tests on the biodegradation of plastics in the aquatic environment according to International Standards and for research purposes.

Mesocosm Tests/ Tests in tanks with natural sediment and water serve for screening and to determine the rate of biodegradation under controlled conditions in higher volumes.

Field Tests/ How polymers, blends and products perform under real conditions in nature we test in different habitats in freshwater and the sea.

Method Development/ If there are no standards available for special requirements, products or applications we adapt or develop new methods.

We solve scientific questions under water. Mostly in coastal areas, but occasionally also in the Deep Sea.

Basic Research/ We study the interaction between organisms, and their environment - mainly in situ, and in collaboration with partners from our international network.
